only noticed your post about having the magazine in chapters after i had already posted my idea about the 7 sins. he he but think it's a good way to set the magazine out.

i've had an idea of a way of putting all our ideas together to work for a magazine.....

To be based on the 7 sins which i think works really well with alistair so the magazine has 7 sections such as. gluttony we could look as different food recipes and pride looking at different make up, envy looking at the new trends and we could come up with the other ones when we know what other pieces we want in the magazine.

here are the other ones-

lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride.

Came across this photographer during The Cut. He's a Spanish guy and some of his work is amazing. His photos tend to revolve around dark subject areas and have a witchety feel. But this set i've picked out here, i think is particularly relevant to Crowley. It just has that old worldy feel and reminds me of old drawings of magical symbols and spells. Kind of like Da Vinci's "The Vitruvian Man"

"Liber OZ" was one of the many books Crowley wrote. It was only a single page long and is properly known as "Book 77".

It states mankinds basic rights according to Crowley's philosophy of Thelma (a religion/philosophy based on the dictum "Do What Tou Wilt". Basically it's about discovering your True Will, your "calling" or "purpose" in life)

Liber OZ was written to clearly state the O.T.O (Ordo Templi Orientis - a religious/fraternal organization founded at the beginning of the 20th century) plan in words of one syllable and to break it down into five sections:

MORAL

BODILY

MENTAL

SEXUAL

SAFEGUARD TYRANNICIDE (killing of tyrants)

The book is shown above, while the symbol underneath is Crowley's version of the Unicursal Hexagram, a common symbol of Thelma.

I really like the idea of having chapters in our magazine. Maybe using those five sections as rough themes for each chapter...

The art work for the best selling tarot card set ever (Thoth)...was done by Aleister Crowley, so the thought of doing a styling shoot that dipicted scenes from the cards and then with art direction over the top of them could look really cool.- vawn

The Beast and The Beatles!

Well look where our man has popped up! That's him second from the left, in the back row. Apparently the Beatles took his teachings very seriously. Jimmy Page from Led Zeplin was also obsessed with him...He brought the estate where Crowley had previously lived and used it in one of the band's videos.

Also just had an idea to have a peice in the magazine of other people in the world who have been named the 'something's' of the world because he's named the wickedest man in the world such as the most famous people in the world.
